Mother’s Day turned out to be
A pretty eventful weekend
For the Hutchinson family
On Thursday May 10th
Our youngest son, Grant
Graduated from Temple University
All four of our children
Made it thru college
In 4 years
That is a rare feat
These days
Today…….
Colleges make it very easy
To make it a 5 year+ program
Now Grant is headed to the shore
For the summer
To sell ice cream on the beach
While diligently looking for a job
In film editing
Any referrals or introductions
To a possible job opportunity
Will be welcomed……
Can’t go wrong with a young Hutch
Oh………
To be 22 again
Then…..
On Saturday May 12th
Our 2 eldest sons…
George Henry IV and Brenton Patrick
Graduated with their
Masters from St Joe’s University
Again, no small feat
They both worked full time
While….
Taking night courses
Janet and I are very proud of them
With a lot of focus
Hard work and
Determination
They received their Masters
George IV in Finance
Brenton in International Marketing

If April showers
Bring May flowers
Then…
What do May showers bring?
Seems that Spring….
Came a little early
This year
We were busy having
80 to 90 degree days
Back in March
Even faked out the
Flowers and trees
I saw buds coming up…..
Out of the ground
And
Trees beginning to bloom
Then came April….
Cold temperatures
A few overnight freeze warnings…
Thrown in…
For good measure
No Rain
I remember running thru the park
I overheard the trees
Talking to the plants
What’s going on with this weather?
First they tell us it is ok to bloom
Then they throw……
Cold temperatures at us
What are these human’s doing?
Do you think they know?
Or
Is it time for us
To talk to….
The big Guy up there?
I’m just telling you

Can’t find it in the

I think you know what I mean
Humor can be used in many forms
But as a common bond…..
It brings people together
When people are using humor
They are doing so….
For they feel comfortable…..
With the situation they are in
You are able to relax and…
Show your true self
I was at a breakfast last week
I stood up and spoke…
When I was finished
The person sitting next to me
Said….
You’re funny….
You always make me laugh….
When you speak
I took that as a real compliment
I have always been good with a …..
1 on 1 conversation
Yet….
I always find myself being nervous
When I have to speak in front
Of a group of people
Possibly…..
I use humor
When I start speaking
To ease…..
Into the discussion
By putting other people at ease
Seeing them smiling
Helps me to feel…..
More comfortable and….
Competent
Humor can be a great tool
I have often found that…….

Diffuse a situation
We often…..
Find ourselves….
Taking things…..
Way to seriously…..
When we are able to just
Laugh at ourselves
You soon realize
